Lamborghini Huracan Performante

The Huracan has been the smallest and tamest Lambo you could buy. However, at the 87th Geneva Motor Show, this Italian supercar maker showcased a new version of the Huracan called the Performante. Its 5.2 litre, V10 engine delivers 640 bhp, enabling it to rocket off the line and onto 100 kph in a potentially neck-snapping 2.9 seconds! The car will actually hit 200 kph in barely 6 seconds, a time in which many cars cannot even reach half that speed.

McLaren 720S

After giving us some truly insane automobiles, chiefly the ballistic P1, British supercar manufacturer McLaren has now shown us its latest creation. The vehicle in question, called the McLaren 720S, is propelled by a 4.0 litre, twin turbocharged V8 engine that produces 710 bhp. Stamp on the accelerator pedal and you will do the 0-100 kph dash in less than 2.9 seconds (claims McLaren); and the top speed figure is 341 kph.

Porsche 911 GT3

The GT3 is one of the best and sportiest variants of the brilliant Porsche 911 and, at the Geneva Motor Show 2017, the company has brought out the newest 911 GT3. Its 4.0 litre, naturally aspirated flat-six motor now kicks out 494 bhp. Although it does not look too dissimilar from the previous GT3, it is way more efficient and better to drive thanks to reduced friction between engine components, a new lubrication system and two ram air scoops that force more air into the engine at higher speeds.

Ferrari 812 Superfast

With a name badge that actually says Superfast, it might sound as though Ferrari is blowing its own trumpet. But you would be hard-pressed to disagree, as the 812 Superfast has a 6.5 litre, 789 hp, V12 engine; a motor that is certainly capable of making this car super fast! The car can hit a top speed of 339 kph and interestingly, like two other cars in this very article, it can do the 0-100 kph run in 2.9 seconds.

Aston Martin Valkyrie

Aston Martin showed off its all new beast of a car at the 87th Geneva Motor Show; a car that has a 6.5 litre, naturally aspirated V12 engine under its bonnet. With a power output that nears the scary 900 hp mark, the company had to come up with a befitting name; and Aston chose to christen their new hypercar Valkyrie, a mythological figure from Norse legends. With its looks, power and name, the Aston Martin Valkyrie seems poised to give all other supercars the chills.
