The bookings for the new sedan have already started at a token amount of Rs. 11,000 at all the Honda dealerships across the nation. The automatic variants would come in mid-level S and V grades in both petrol and diesel guises.


As for features, new-gen Honda Amaze would get 7-inch DIGIPAD 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto And Apple CarPlay, automatic air conditioning, engine start/stop button, LED position lamps, rear parking sensors with camera, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD etc. to mention a few. Mechanically, the 2018 Honda Amaze would be offered in both petrol and diesel trims with the same engines. The petrol variants would be powered by the 1.2L i-VTEC engine which develops top power of 89bhp and peak torque of 110Nm. The diesel variants would belt out maximum power of 99bhp for the manual variant and 79bhp for the CVT variant with torque outputs of 200Nm and 160Nm, respectively. The prices for the petrol variants are expected to start from Rs. 6 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
