Mercedes-Benz Launches A-Class and B-Class Night Editions

Mercedes-Benz India today strengthened its New Generation Cars (NGC) portfolio by launching two stunning luxury compacts, the A-Class and the B-Class Night Edition. These cars will have only 100 exclusive units each for India.

The A180 petrol is priced at INR 27.31 lakhs while the A200d diesel costs INR 28.32 lakhs. The B180 petrol will set you back by INR 29.34 lakhs and the B200d has a price tag of INR 30.35 lakhs (all prices are ex-showroom, Pune figures). The Night Edition name is given due to the Night Package included in these cars, which come with striking exterior features in black, high gloss trim strips, blacked out mirrors and black 17 inch alloys, lending the vehicles an even sportier demeanour.

The petrol engine of these cars is a 1.6 litre, 4 cylinder units that delivers 121 bhp while the diesel motor is a 2.0 litre, 4 cylinder, turbocharged unit that puts out 134 bhp. Both these engines come hooked up to 7 speed, double clutch, automatic gearboxes. You also get multiple drive modes, an 8 inch infotainment system display, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and more. The interior of the cars have been given an upgrade as well. These two cars are the first launches by Mercedes-Benz for India in 2017.
